  • Firefighter Application

    **The physical strength and endurance demands associated with training and on-the-job use and operations of current firefighting equipment include lifting, carrying, and pulling of objects; climbing; crawling; running, and hoisting. Physical agility requires upper body strength, aerobic conditioning, and flexibility. Students will be exposed to dark rooms, confined spaces, and extreme heat and cold.

  • Firefighter Program Enrollment Update

    Please note:

    To avoid people lining up at night, enrollment will now use a first-come, first-served waitlist based on the order of completed applications.

    Priority Order:

    • Paramedic and AEMT applicants will be given priority consideration for applications received by March 6.

    • EMT applicants will be considered next on the waitlist between March 9–13.


    After March 13, if spots remain, all completed applications will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis beginning March 23.


    Please turn in all requirements ASAP—your place depends on when your application is complete.  

    A Student Success Advisor will let you know when your application has been completed and moved to the waitlist. If you have any questions, please email advising@btech.edu.
